The Process

MAP

When installing new sensors they are mapped onto your infrastructure. This allows the system to understand how sensors are related to each other.

DEFINE ZONES

After mapping the sensors, zones are defined to which separate algorithms and alarms can be assigned.

RECORD

In order to know how your infrastructure should run, our machine learning algorithms will observe the environment and collect sufficient data.

LEARN

Based on the recorded data, the internal processing units will start to learn patterns in the data. A wide variety of machine learning algorithms are being used to derive the behavior you desire.

MONITOR

Everything can be monitored from a simple, mobile friendly, web interface. For each defined machine, zone and sensor all relevant statistics can be requested.

FEEDBACK

The processing sensors are able to communicate with intelligent control systems such as PLCs, allowing for a fast and direct intervention on a machine level.

SENSOR SYSTEM

MASTER/SLAVE

DeepVibe.ai provides two type of devices. The master device contains several sensors and a powerful embedded processing unit. A slave device has sensors from which the data is transmitted.

SENSORS

Each device contains a set of highly sensitive sensors that sense slight changes in operational state caused by temperature changes and wear, among others

EDGE COMPUTING

The processing device contains, next to its sensors, an embedded processor on which the live data is interpreted. As a result, the amount of data that needs to be transmitted can be limited to the minimum and there exists no dependency of an internet connection.

I/O

The processing device has I/O capability, allowing to directly communicate with controllers (e.g., PLCs) in case of an alarm, detection of a leak or other state change.

Manufacturing Industry

Within this industry many applications can benefit from our sensing technology. Predictive maintenance, adaptive control processes and quality assurance are just a few examples.

Process Industry

Water, gas, oil and other chemicals are being processed and transported within a contained infrastructure. Leaks and other malfunctions within these pipes or valves could be detected in an early stage by our sensing technology.

Energy Production

The energy generation is a continuous process where wear and other factors can cause more damage. Depending on the type of detectable variance, our technology can predict a maintenance need in an early stage.

Robot Applications

Robots are being used in logistics, automotive and other industries. They often work 24/7, where wear could eventually cause a long production hold that could have been prevented by abnormal behavior detection.

Each infrastructure is different and our customer demands change from one application to another. Some end-customers would like to have an integration in their existing control infrastructure, some need a custom application for which extra development is needed and others would like to apply additional reasoning strategies (e.g., heuristics, machine learning) on a factory wide level. This is why we only work together with Partner Integrators that have the ability to implement and integrate our sensor system in a larger story.
